ABOUT ABOUT

Every June, more than 400 public school supporters gather in celebration at the end of the school year. Parents, educators, elected officials and business leaders who rely on the Notebook’s independent voice and advocacy on behalf of Philadelphia’s public schools come together to honor the nonprofit news organization and highlight the top high school journalists in the city.

This festive event features awards for outstanding high school journalism, talented local musicians, a silent auction, and the opportunity to speak with the most influential voices in the local education community.

At this year's event, the Notebook will honor researcher and educator Jolley Bruce Christman for her incredible impact in the local education community and at the Notebook. Christman co-founded of Research for Action, a nationally respected education research organization in Philadelphia, and is a longtime supporter, expert source and board member at the Notebook.

Don't miss the biggest party of the year in our city's education community!
